Social workers are ready to engage and discuss the problems of their profession and more than determined to contribute in every positive way to improve status quo. But, we do expect a minimum of professional ethics and integrity on the part of those involved.
We hope GSCC stops its arrogant disregard of our views/opinions and does not undermine our profession any further.

i’m sorry but for the task force to have given this person, deidre saundre of the sun, house room let alone a place is just bizarre. but for the gscc to invite her to conference is at complete loggerheads with the fundamentals that have underpinned the philosophy of modern day social work NOT to get into bed with tabloid right wing public sector bashers. i have signed the petition & hope many many more do to stop her attendance
